| Is Wife Hacking My Bberry???? Please Login to Remove! Wonder if anyone can tell me how to determine if wife is hacking my bberry? I have email from 3 accounts coming to my bberry curve, as well as use text (sms) frequently. She's technically advanced and has lots of technology resources available to her. I've "planted" a few things lately and she seems strangely aware. Maybe coincidence, but I'm not prone to paranoia. If this is possible, how to tell? How to nail her on it? How to stop it? | | Offline

| Password protect your device and problem solved. No you CAN NOT "hack" a BlacKBerry. To read your email she is using your unprotected device or getting to your email another way. | | Offline

| I would say, reset the passwords on all 3 email accounts, and then change your BIS email settings to reflect the password change. And change the BIS password.
Check each email account to ensure mail is NOT being FORWARDED elsewhere.
If you actually do all those steps and not skip any, your email should be secure.

| I'm assuming she knows your passwords for your email accounts and reading them off the web if anything. | | Offline

| Yes, I am wondering if she is getting email from my bberry somehow as well as text messages. It is password protected and I change it frequently. I'm sure she doesn't know the password. Another, somewhat related question - if my bberry is work issued and going thru the bberry server at work, do text messages go through there too? What about email accounts that are personal, but I just have them coming to my bberry device? Like a gmail or earthlink account? | | Offline

| As stated the device has yet to be "hacked" and she is probably getting to your email from other means.
I believe Verizon shows who you've been sending SMS messages to from your online account. She could be checking that to see who you've been sending SMS too.
Is it just me or does seem to be a more frequently ask question. I wouldn't be surprised to see a forum dedicated to significant other hacking my blackberry, lol.
Welcome to the forums btw. | | Offline

| Password changes all around should do the trick. Insecurity can make people do horrible things. Here's another take... open it up... wide up. Let her see whatever she wants, that there is nothing to hide. Then perhaps it won't be a security issue anymore.
