I have the Curve 8300 with a 2GB memory stick that has PLENTY of space on it.
My bb is pointed to saving all photos to the memory card. Normally I take a shot, and the pic shows the preview, then it saves.
Just recently, every time I take a snapshot, no preview shows and when i go to look where it stored, the pic is there but nothing shows up but a white screen with a tiny red x in the corner.
I have no idea why this suddenly happened, I never had this problem before. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
p.s. i was told to take out the battery w/ the phone on and this didnt work.

Can you view the photos off of a computer if they are transferred from the Media Card? If so, store the pics on the computer and then re-format the media card in the device and try again.
photos still arent showing up even after i reformatted the card. It is working fine, because I can still download and save images & video to it with no problem!

ok, i completely took everything off of the media card, and just tried to take pics and save them to the phone but to no avail.
Something is not right here.
someone mentioned to downgrade my bb 8300 version or to upgrade. I'm not sure how or where to do this,
Any thoughts would be helpful at this point.

Can you please check and re-post your free memory? I was talking about on the device not the card. Check Device memory - Menu>Options>Status (what is your file free)?
