Default Dust under screen

Please Login to Remove!

Folks - Do you guys have dust under your Blackberry screens? I do not know how to clean it and moreover prevent it. Any idea or suggestions will be helpful?

I don't. I had my 8330 for about three months before putting on a screen protector from Best Skins Ever. Definitely don't just keep it in your pocket or purse. Lint is bound to find it's way in there. I have always kept mine in it's Seidio holster.

Prevent: Never put it in your pocket. Always keep in a case when not in use.


As for how to clean. There are a couple YouTube videos you can search for and you can search here for a few disassembly guides.

Only way to clean is to take it apart. Check these videos

Please keep in mind that taking it apart is not the recommended way under the warranty, but i have found that youtube does have a few videos on how to maintain your device (screen,track ball, etc)

I caught soo much dust in my curve. I just told ATT it wasn't working and i got a new one.
