Lightbulb Virgin Mobile Canada - prepaid

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

I was hoping if someone can give me an answer or have done this already.

I spoke with a customer rep., he says that you can buy a BB 8130 at full price of course and use it with a prepaid account. But only calls can be made, no GPS, no email.

They have a 7$ Unlimited Web Browsing option for the prepaid service. I was wondering if this would allow me to browse my gmail and the weather network.

The rep. want it me to sign a 3 year contract, so he didn't give me a concrete answer, just "no, not gonna work"

I have done this with Fido prepaid on a HTC Touch, no data plan, just pay per visit (0.05 per kbytes)

So ... can this be done ?
