Default BB7520 questions

I searched. I promise!!

I received a free BB7520. It's from the Sprint network, but I don't care about the iden stuff. I only want to use it as a PDA. I downloaded desktop manager 4.6. It syncs with the BB, but I can't add anything to it.

Basically, all I want to do it be able to place images, music, etc from my laptop to the device. Is this possible? I travel and before I go on the road, I'd like to place some maps on it.

Also, I know this has GPS built in. Is it possible to make the GPS or web work without paying Sprint for the service.

The reason I don't want to pay is because our company is probably going to switch to Verizon early next year. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to BB Forums.
You may have the wrong BB for your needs.

There is no way to download maps onto the 7520. It has VERY limited memory and does not have a microSD memory expansion slot. That means no maps or music.

It really won't do much for you.

Oh man. I thought it had some room for images and other stuff. Can it do GPS at all? Either way, we'll be upgrading and getting new BB's soon so I'm sure I'll be here. Thanks for the fast response.
