| Cingular HTML Browser Please Login to Remove! I have an issue with Cingular and their lack of an HTML browser and I would like to hear from others regarding this. According to Cingluar, the only way I can get a true HTML browser is if I have BES. Since I don't have BES and it is not cost effective for me to get it, I am just out of luck. The person I talked to told me that before the merger with AT&T, they could push an HTML browser out to customers who use BIS but now they can't do that. As I understand it, other carriers don't have this problem. This, of course, means that there are a variety of web sites and services that I simply have not access to, even though I am paying for an unlimited data plan.
So what is up with Cingular? Why would they not want to provide their customers with something that other carriers offer?
I would appreciate hearing what other Cingular customers have to say....and any other suggestions any of you might have. Maybe....just maybe.....if Cingular customers complain about this enough they will respond.....assuming of course that we can get someone to listen. |
