Default Using different BB with same SIM

Please Login to Remove!

A Newbie question. My wife is using a locked GSM BB 8100 from her employer. It is really a "spare" company BB, so she has not loaded any personal info on it (contacts etc.). Also the only email set up on it is [email address], where xxx is the company name. If she bought an unlocked Curve, could she simply transfer the SIM and load the Curve with personal contacts etc.? Would this info remain on the phone, or does it get stored on the SIM?

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (8310; Category 5)

If understand what you are asking, she will need to change the PIN on the BIS website gor that carrier to get the service and email to the new device.
Likewise, the contacts are stored on the device itself, not the SIM. The SIM can store phone numbers only.
