my battery drains within an 8 hour period. I have cleaned memory even though i have a 1gb memory. Emails come in when they want, a day has gone by and i havent received no emails at all, the arrows on the right top corner are there all day like sending/receiving data nonstop. sometimes i see the hour glass there nonstop, i have taken the battery out while powered on, i have stopped data services by going to options/mobile connections/ then off. Then i have waited a few hours with the data services off and the battery dies and it gets hot

For some reason my battery dies and this all started happening a couple of days ago. My BB Curve 8310 was working fine.

Please if someone knows what could be going on, let me know.

Sounds odd. Did you install anything a couple of days ago? How many applications do you have open and resident in memory?

No applications are open and i have not installed anything new. All of the sudden this started happening.
