Default GMail IMAP - Delete on BB

Please Login to Remove!

Until recently, deleting a message on my BB would archive the message in GMAIL. This is with IMAP on Rogers. Just yesterday, I noticed that emails are now going to TRASH when I delete them on my BB. Anyone know about this and how I can get them going to ARCHIVE/All Mail again?

Mine are still archived with the imap/trash label applied.

Question Same problem

Up until 2 days ago when I deleted Gmail IMAP emails on my Blackberry they got archived (just like on Outlook). Now they are getting moved into the Trash. I deleted my account and reset it, but still no luck. I would like to get it set up so that when I delete a Gmail email on my BB that it goes into archive.

Default Me Too

I just found this little surprise right now, hence the reason I'm on this forum. "Delete" used to mean Archive. Hopefully its just a glitch (in fact, I might remember this happening previously). I'm crossing my fingers.

Hopefully android will stabilize soon. I'm all in for a native google mail client.
