I really did try to search for this topic but wasnt successful. I understand there is a HTML upgrade to fix the problem of not getting emails in a clear message context. Some emails come thru with just html links ( I guess that is what you call them)
I have Verizon if that makes a difference.

I believe the curve's OS is 4.3 which does not support html email. You will need a third party program like Empower to get html email.

... or upgrade to OS 4.5.

VZW does not officially support 4.5

So what? It's out there, and there's plenty of people on Verizon who are using it.
It's an option available to the OP should they choose to go that route.

I just loaded the Empower trial pro edition. Will see how that works.
