Question New question for old thread ( As Modem )

This is a question for " Using BlackBerry as Modem ". I did everything according to the FAQ, It dials and connects to the computer, but no internet access, access: Local only. I have T-mobile 8320. I have no T-Mobile signal at home, so it's using uma with no data plan. I haven't tried it out side my home, T-Mobile signal in my area sucks. Thanks

You can't tether without a data plan. Sounds like you need to find another carrier that has better service in your area

Thanks. I know I should have choice Verizon over T-Mobile, I switched from AT&T to get the deal for the BB8320.

Data plan is kinda expensive for BlackBerry with T-Mobile.
