Default Email Attachment in Blackberry 8300

Hi All,

I am new to Blackbery. I need to do write one application as following requirement.

i wil send one attachment as "test.shan". whenever i open this "test.shan" it should ask username/pwd.

Can any one help me how to do this.

Plz give me your valuable suggessions.

Hi Shanmukh ,

You would have to check the attachments file which you are trying to attach it seems to be the file which you are trying to attach is not being supported by blackberry try to attach some .txt file.

Hi Renish,

Thanks for ur response.
test.txt data is copied to the "test.shan".
Now i am attachhing "test.shan".

Whenever the attachment extension is ".shan", then it should invoke my own UI applicaton to ask username and password.

After giving username and password then only that "test.shan" should be opened in an editor(which is test.txt) data.

This is the requirement for me. I need to do this. But i am not sure whether this is possible or not.

I am struggling with this problem.
Experts plz help me.
