Smile Blackberry Desktop Manager

Please Login to Remove!

I am currently using Blackberry Desktop Manager v4.5.

Whenever I use desktop manager for any function i.e backup and restore or application loader and then unplug the device from the USB cable I find that it will not detect the same device if I need to reattach it for any reason.

The only way it will detect the Blackberry again is if I re-boot my pc plug it in via USB and start Desktop manager.

Is this common? or am I doing somthing fundamentally wrong?

I have had this problem with every version of desktop manager I have used so far.

I find it very frustrating that I need to reboot my pc all the time if an application, activation ect dosn't take to the device in the first instant.

Can anyone help or shed any light?

Much appreciated
