Default Bad Customer Service

I have had problems with my BB trackball for quite some time along with the end call button. I went into UScellular to talk to the repair person and was told to call BB. No one offered to call or gave me a number. By the time I got around to calling, it was 4 days past my warranty and BB refused to fix it. I have worked with several companies that if it was this close they would fix or at least share some cost.

My trackball won't scroll left. Anyone else have this problem with there trackball? Any suggestions on a fix?

I will never own another BB or sign with UScell again. I like companies that stand behind their products.

Since it's void, disassemble it and check the scrollers, they may be misaligned.

An easy fix normally: press firmly and roll the ball in the direction in which it does not want to move. That will normally clear the trash or lint that is holding it.

If more serious... you can easily replace one, try HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center . They are simple to replace.

Nevertheless, a warranty is a warranty. At what point (how long) do you want them to extend your warranty, after expiration? I do understand though, customer retention should stand for something.

Do you carry your 8830 in your pocket?

You can do a search for trackball cleaning on here. Many resources. You can also order a new trackball assembly. But it sounds like you are done with the BlackBerry.

You yourself said you had the problem for quite sometime, you waited until the warranty ended.
