All mail goes to the Messages folder, and to a folder for each account. Delete in one place and it is gone from all. No way around it as that is how the BB works. You could hide the messages folder, but you might miss some things.

Push mail is Push mail. It comes automatically. You turn off the data side, but then when you turn it on all mail on the server would be pushed to the BB and that doesn't really solve your issue.

Did you try a search? If so, you probably would have found both answers!

Wirelessly posted

Couldn't this work?

Download Empower BES mailbox to keep all BIS emails out of the main messages screen, then just hide the messages app from the home screen?

Also, turn off wireless reconcile and just do it manually when you want your messages.
