Got a BB recently ( 8310)

Got inundated with thousands of "Rim Net" emails saying do not delete or the heavens will fall.

My home PC Outlook system had loads of incoming and outgoing emails of this nature.
The whole system would hang up and hundreds of Rim Net emails clogged the system preventing me from emailing out.

Read a thread somewhere suggesting I delete contents of Service Book - which i did.

I have re-installed Desktop Manager so there are now things back within the Service book.

Although I can take a picture , I can no longer simply email it.
"Message services not configured " I am informed.
I can only "save a draft"

Tried today and was able to send a pic via MMS but not via email.
Have tried to rectify this but can't. ( Don't even know what MMS is)

My "Messages" icon appears to also include not only email but calls to and from my BB.

Thought that was the function of "Call log"?

Any help regarding emailing pictures would be welcome in layman's terms

Fix that completely if you have not.

2. You need your service books back for your email service.

3. Clear your Messages folder of the call logs by pressing the green dial key > Menu > options > Call Logs > and set that to none

I am assuming that you installed DM as the Redirector option and have since reinstalled as BIS. Presuming that you are using BIS you will need to login to your BIS site and resend the service books.

Still no ability to send pictures via email.

I am totally new to this Blackberry thing... I have an 8800 and am having issues with the email accounts I have set up and the desktop "messaging" file. Despite working well initially, all emails I receive are directed into the desktop file rather than separating my emails into the respective email files. No idea how to remedy this so any help would be gratefully received...

You would be best to send picture messages via the phone option.

Am not trying to send picture messages... just standard emails
