Default Data Transfer from Device Memory to Media Card

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, all. How can I transfer all files from the device memory to a newly installed 2GB media card?
And will doing so improve performance of the phone, Blackberry 8100?
Thank you.

Doing so will improve performance on your BB device memory.

You can use the Media icon > Menu > Explore, to move the files one by one, from the device mem to the media card, or you can use Media Manager in Desktop Manager

When I try and setup the new card, I am receiving the following message:
"The media card is not available because Mass Storage is currently in use."
This is my wife's phone so I am unfamiliar with it. All I want to do is put all her pictures and files on a new 2GB card I bought.
Can someone help, please? Thank you.
