i think my blackberry 8320 curve has died, the phone turned its self off and then it keeps turning its self off/on. it shows an egg timer for about 30 secs and then goes off and the red LED stays on for a couple of seconds and then the process begins all over again! i dont know what to do? Help please?

I presume you've done a battery pull first, to see if that helps, right?

What did you do w/the BB just before this started happening?

dont know if i feel confident doing that, looks abit too complicated.

i was just checking the time and put the phone back in my pocket and the next thing i know its doing this. done the whole battery and SIM thing.

You really don't have any choice. The device is stuck in reboot loop and wiping it and reloading the OS is the only option left.

Even if your phone is under warranty, when you call in they are going to want you to try reloading the OS first before sending you a warranty replacement.
