Default Email account setup error

Please Login to Remove!

Iím having problems in getting my email setup on my blackberry device, which was just recently purchased.

Specifically, I go to the Email setup icon on my blackberry curve (8330), and it loads, and then comes back with an error message that ďMy Account has been suspendedĒ. Would anyone know why I would see this message? Itís almost like BIS wasnít setup correctly when the phone was purchased. This is a brand new phone, and service.

Now I do know that the gentleman that setup up my account in Verizonís computer system, did put the wrong plan on twice before he got the correct one put in the computer. Would this have anything to do with this error? Would re-provisioning the device maybe fix this?

I have no problems registering the device on Blackberryís network.

Verizonís blackberry tech support hasnít been helpful at all; they claim cannot see the device.

Are there any Verizon wireless insiders that might know what is going on, and how might I get this resolved? Iíd like to get this resolved, and then Iíll go and create a login so that I can use the carriers BIS website.

Thanks.

Default

Try doing a *228 Send to reprogram the phone and they try to add the email address.
