Default 7520 car kit

Please Login to Remove!

does anyone know of a hardwired car kit i can get for my bb7520 nextel...not a bluetooth, but a regular kit that has external antenna and charges the bb in the cradle?

the BB doesn't have an antenna port. The only way to mount an external antenna would be to use an antenna adapter or ring attachment. Wilson Electronics makes this kind of kit for Nextel and even has boosters you can use in the car. They don't have a listing on their site for the 7520, but I would be willing to bet they have one available. www.wilsonelectronics.com This would leave you with the charging which you would need to do with a car adapter or the ac adapter coupled with an inverter.

thanks, but im looking for the whole kit, charging function built in to the cradle i dont want to have to plug it in to the car charger i want it to stay in the cradle at all times

Good luck I searched for 3 months for the same thing. I finally gave up. I found that to use the 7520 you were better off not havingg it in the cradle. To be able to work the wheel and push proper buttons you could not see the screen unless you have the BB in the palm of your hand.

I have switched to using the bluetoth headset on my BB 7520. It works great in the car (so far).
