Default BB 8830 Unlock Code????

Please Login to Remove!

I bought a BB 8830 World Edition phone from VZW and was told that I can use it here in Germany with Vodafone, but it does not work. I email VZW and they told me that I need a SIM Card to unlock it. So, I tried to order the card, but guess what? They dont ship overseas. Now I am here, with no one in the States to have the card shipped to and that I trust to mail it to me. Is there anyone out there that knows how to unlock the phone so I can use it with another carriers SIM card?

It's my understanding that you need the carrier's SIM in the phone in order to unlock it for use with other carriers. Did they try to sell you their International kit?
