i just splurged and jumoped from verizon bb to att iphone, mainly so my wife and i can stay in sync with wireless sync of calendars and whatnot. anyway, i hate it. i want my bb back. my question is this. is there a comparable or in any way a product that will allow my wife and i to both have blackberries and for example add a calendar entry on my bb that will then show up on heres wirelessly as the iphone can do with mobileme?

Yes, you could use BB Unite! or you could go through a hosted BES solution.

I am not sure what the iphone has in terms of syncing the calendar, but i'm sure the web view of the calendar on the iphone, along with your native calendar app on the bb synced to your google account would provide you the solution you are looking for.

I haven't tried it out yet, but it sounds promising. Please provide feedback if you try it. I'm sure your not the first person to want this solution.

ok so let me get this straight. i can sync my bb with outlook calendar and then use BB unite for somethign i put on my BB to wirelessly sync to my wifes bb?

Google Calendar Sync is a good way to do what you want to do. I use it on my work laptop, desktop, home pc and wife's pc. I have the work laptop and BB set for two way sync and all the others to one way GCal to Outlook.

Works great.

I have a similar setup as Dubdub. Two way between my BB and work lappy using Google 's sync programs, one way to home pc. Works pretty good with very few problems. Best of all, no additional charges above my BIS.

Hey what type of issues are you having? I'm having constant issues and I've been searching here and on the web looking some solutions.
Sometimes it sync, sometimes it does not. I'll add something on the BB but it won't upload to Gcal.

There are also two retail wireless sync solutions...ThinkPost Communications - Home and BBerrysync - OTA Sync.

I have tried the newest google sync for calendar but it fails. I have read some posts in the google calendar help forum that the newest version doesn't work with newer blackberrys. I have also been using the funambol sync but it stopped working when I upgraded from 4.3 to 4.5 on my BB. Anyone successfully syncing ota two way BB to google calendar WITHOUT outlook? I don't use outlook and it seems most solutions use outlook. I just want my BB calendar and google calendar to sync.

I'm not using OL and have Google Sync working with a Blackberry Bold both calendar and contacts. I'm using OL for work email, which isn't going to the Blackberry (long story - no BES for me). I use the google desktop app to sync the work calendar with google calendar. I'm using google sync to sync my BB with google.
