|  New Blackberry Owner need help!

Hi I was given a blackberry curve 8310 and the previous service was at&t and i want to switch it to tmobile so i went online to ebay to find a service that can unlock it. i ound a service for 10 bucks that said that they would unlock the phone, but the guy told me that the imei # was not found in the att database...i dont know what that means because i never dealt with unlocking a phone before so i called att and they couldnt find the imei either, saying that the code was "unavailable". so the guy from ebay said that there's a international submission for imei that are not found, and that would be an addtional 35 bucks....is this correct? am i going about the right way? i have no other options but to trust this guy but maybe someone can help me and not have to pay a big amount of money? please help! thanks! |
