Default Delete from Outlook and will reflect on BB Handheld

Please Login to Remove!

I have set the handheld where I could delete email, but will NOT delete the one in Outlook. From Outlook, I want to be able to delete email and will reflect on the handheld. Is there such a way to do so without disabling the first setting?

On Blackberry go to INBOX / OPTIONS / EMAIL RECONCILIATION / and set the Delete On "Mailbox and Handheld".

Welcome. If you are using BIS, (personal device), it cannot be done without using a redirector type service.

Allow me to apologize if I misread anything. I think the person wanted to delete from outlook first and have it automatically reflect on bb.

Welcome to the forums. The OP wants the device to delete mail on the device only, not outlook. But when deleting from outlook to delete on BOTH the device an outlook.

Are you on a BES?

Have you tried deleting a message off of outlook and seeing what happens?

So ssuka;

Clarify the above questions as there are some varialbles here as was noted in the previous posts. Yes, it is important to distinguish between BIS or BES - and I overlooked this. And to make sure everyone understands - please confirm what your trying to delete again...

Thx...

H.

Default Correct as JSCONYERS explains

It is correct as JSCONYERS stated. My apology for the confusion. It is BES.

I have my message reconciliation set to "delete on: handheld" and it behaves exactly as the OP wants. Delete in Outlook, message is removed from Handheld. Delete on Handheld, message remains available in Outlook.

Messages>options>Email Reconciliation
Have you tried that setting ssuka?

Thank you all! Scott_Perry, I've actually previously had it set the way you've suggested but it didn't work. I've reset it to it again with same result.

Basically, when I delete email from Outlook, I want it to be deleted from the BB Handheld as well without doing it manually. From the BB, I want to delete email but I don't want the one in Outlook to be deleted. Hope I'm making any sense.

Make sure wireless reconcile is turned on.
