I have installed Desktop Manager on a number of machines here at work, we do not use BES, most are running outlook 07 or outlook 03. On several of the machines the last message we receive during sync is :

" There was a total of 2 record(s) skipped during the synchronization as summarized below: address book: Device-0, Microsoft Outlook -2 Please check the synchronization log for more details. "

I have looked at the log and can't decipher what is causing this message... its not a big issue, but I would like to know exactly which contacts are causing the annoying message.

On a side note:
I also do not like the fact that it doesn't automatically sync when I add something to my outlook calendar while the blackberry is plugged in either... I have to manually sync it and check multiple "ok" boxes. My PDA using active sync would automatically pick up any changes I made while it was plugged in laying on the desk.

Ok, I solved it, I deleted ALL my contacts in outlook, Knowing there was a problem with 2 of them. I then changed the "contact sync settings" to "one way from Blackberry TO Outlook" (VERY IMPORTANT STEP TO AVOID DELETING REMAINING CONTACTS IN BLACKBERRY) I then re-synced all contacts FROM Blackberry Back TO Outlook, which left out the two problem contacts that would never sync from outlook, whatever they were they are GONE.. .... Message is gone now also.. ...



Now if anyone knows how to make it sync automatically when changes are applied to outlook while the blackberry is plugged in, that would be nice.
