I am getting a lot of spam on my Blackberry Curve. Is there some spam program or filter to help with this?

What email address? Filter the spam at your email server level is the best option.

One is verizon an the other is not controlled by me. Are there filters you can get?

AntAir makes the only filter I have heard of, for the the BlackBerry itself.

I would advise losing the @carrier.blackberry.net address and moving a gmail address, much better spam control. You will never control it on the blackberry.net address.

You can set up word filters on the email addresses using the BIS site from your PC. You'll never be able to filter out all spam that way, but some of the obvious spammy words in subject lines can be filtered out. Most of my spam gets caught at the server level, but I have some filters for stuff that gets past the server.

I concur with the others. Ditch the carrier email address and go with GMail. Spam problems will be over.
