Default Upgrading from Curve to Bold? - 10-13-2008, 11:13 PM

Hey guys,

I plan on buying a Blackberry Bold the moment AT&T releases it. I currently have a Curve. When I finally get my hands on the Bold, obviously I'll want to transfer over everything (meaning *everything*) I have on the Curve. Will the Device Switch Wizard completely handle the job, or is there anything I'll have to do manually? Never switched from one BB to another!

Thanks!

The Switch Device wizard will get most of the stuff for you. There may be some odd apps that may not work with 4.6. But I got most of my stuff across easily. You may also need updated registration codes for applications that are tied to the PIN of your Curve.

Either device switch wizard, or I imagine you can basically restore everything from your curve into the new phone.

dbltap is right. SDW will do what you need. The biggest issue I had with 3rd party apps was the resolution not being correct. I believe they all functioned though.
