Question Duplicate entries in Calendar

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user who is getting duplicate calendar entries on her blackberry. We are a total wireless environment 4.0. She says that when she accepts an appointment on her blackberry it doesnt show in her desktop calendar. Then she will accept it on her desktop... So that is how she is getting dups, but why isnt it syncing from bb back to desktop??

Thanks Brad, but one other question. I have mine set up to process upon arrival. I havent had a duplicate yet. We have outlook 2000 and have not applied sp 2 to our 4.0 BES. Wasnt that one of the issues that sp2 was supposed to fix? Or is this a random problem?

On the user's handheld, click on Calendar then click the trackwheel and go to Options. Change Wireless Synchronization to No. Connect the handheld to the PC. Open Desktop Manager and then go to Backup and Restore. Click on the Advanced button. Once loaded, select Calendar from the right side and click the Clear button. Once that has completed, disconnect the handheld from the PC, go back to Calendar on the handheld and then Options and change Wireless Synchronization back to Yes.

This should populate the calendar appointments over-the-air to the handheld over the next few minutes. Once done, test to see if duplicates are still happening.
