My BOLD BB messenger "myver" does not match my OS
 

Hi guys I tried typing "myver" on my BB messenger and it showed 9000/4.6.0.35

When my BOLD is actually running on OS 4.6.0.162 release(292) platform: 4.0.0.155

But when I tried typing "myver" on memopad there was not any problem with that. The problem only occured when it is on BB messenger.

Can anybody there tell me why it shows 9000/4.6.0.35 on BB messenger ?

Don't panic it's just a bug if you installed .162 and you see it in your about screen then your fine.

i have the same problem also... i have bold with os .168 and it says .35 when i type myver in bb messenger.. probably its because im using beta version though..

What happens when you try in an email - mine says I don't have a version or a life.

Its not only on your .168 didnt you ream my post?! mine is official .162 downloaded from blackberry.com and have the problem too.

is that a bug ? are you sure. coz there wasnt any OS 4.6.0.35 in the 1st place. could that thing mean something ? could that be the version for the BB messenger itself ?

Sounds like 4.6.0.35 is the BB Messenger version, not the OS version. Either that or this "myver" thing that has everyone's panties in a bunch is simply stuffed.
