I have an 8703 and directly above my unread messages icon is another icon with either a "T" or a "1" inside of it. I have never seen this before and can't get rid of it.

Any suggestions?

Does that icon have a color and/or shape to it? Blue, yellow, round, square... look like an old cassette tape?

It's a square box, outside edges are gray and the inside T or 1 is blue, it doesn't look like a cassette tape.

could it be a small "f"? If so, it's a facebook notification.
