Default No Data signal suddenly?

Please Login to Remove!

Since two days ago, my blackberry is not able to pick up any EDGE or data signal in my home area. What could it be? I'm using Cingular/ATT network.

And you are using Cingular/ATT. Okey dokey.

Have you tried removing the battery and then putting in back in?

Have tried over a dozen times. As soon as I move away from my home area, my BB is able to pick up the EDGE signal.

Oh. It is a local tower problem. Contact your carrier and tell them. It is not a BlackBerry problem.

Oh, if you call and report a tower problem, do they really look into it? A lot of times, tech reps just think "you moron, learn how to use a blackberry" and claim it's user error.
