Default Amount of Data and PIN Messaging

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

A few friends (including myself) are wondering if anyone knows how much data does PIN messaging actually use? I understand that BB compresses data quite a bit, so the amount of emails you get, say, out of 2 mb is massive compared to the amount of emails when using a treo or centro.

I have a 1gb dataplan and use email, internet and pin messaging regularly; I'm staring to worry that 1gb may not be sufficient..... Can anyone venture a good guess at how much data pin messaging eats up?

Thanks in advance,

A.

A short PIN message will be only a couple of kb. Figure one line = 2 or 3 kb.

Thanks for your reply, that's pretty small I suppose. Guess I shouldn't be worried with 1gig of data then.
