Default Slightly damp 8830, track ball won't select

Please Login to Remove!

I have read the threads about really wet Blackberry and a clean trackball. However, I was out in the rain this weekend and phone was fairly protected but got a little damp. Phone works, all the keys works, trackball goes L, R, Up and Down, but just can't select with it. Everything else is fine.

Anyone have this problem and could it be a dirty trackball, or just enough water to have caused a little damage.

Welcome. Looks like you might need your select pad repaired. Check out the following webpage "Select Feature Repair". Its pretty costly.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

If you have insurance, consider using it.
