I am not sure how this happened, but one minute my volume on my phone was working normally and the next minute it sounds muted. The volume is up all the way on my phone, however, when I have a phone call, its impossible to hear. The person sounds far away, removed, and muted.

What happened? How do I fix this?

I often use the blackberry to listen to music and it always warns me about audio boost, but I don't think I saw any other messages about volume levels.

Where do you even bring a BB to get fixed? Will Verizon do it? I have curve 8330

Did you by any chance change the profile you're using? If you bought from Verizon, Verizon would have to service, replace or sell you a new one.

Not sure if this is the issue but the positioning of your ear with respect to the earpiece can make a drastic difference (if you're slightly off).

I have the same problem on a new 8330..sometimes no sound at all. verizon said it was a software issue and i tried the download but still does it
