Default Stop Gmail in "messages"

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Gmail account setup. It has a seperate icon from "messages". However, it always places an email in both the gmail account and the "messages". I want my "messages" to strictly be from BES. How do I stop it from populating both and just be in the designated object.

Check out Empower BES Mailbox. It will separate your BES email from your personal email.

Empower your BlackBerry with HTML Email Viewer and BES MailBox

Not so sure that program will work. I have the new Bold and it has features to seperate SMS from messages, already. It even sets up Gmail and any other webmail into it's own box. So it does all those functions already. The problem is that it also puts a copy into your messages. So I have them in 2 locations... I can "View Folder" then go to my inbox and the gmail won't display... this is rather painful since you can't make it the default view. I just want my gmail to stop going to 2 location.s

By default, ALL email goes into the Messages app (along with text and PIN messages). Yes, you can separate your email and text, but the only way to have your BIS email (gmail) not show is with a 3rd party application.

You can't keep email from a certain account out of Messages for reasons already stated. You can either use Empower BES Mailbox or get your BES admin to upgrade to 4.1.6 or higher and enable the BES mail icon.
