Default Help - Email on my blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hi I was hopeing someone could help.
I've set up two emails on my blackberry storm, one gmail and one work address (Outlook).

Firstly, when i receive emails to my work address, once that message is forwarded to my device it marks the item as Read on my outlook. This is obviously not good as I want to leave certain items unread as I have not been able to respond yet. I think I have all the correct settings, so is there a way to disable that?

Secondly on both email accounts, when I delete a message and select "On device and mailbox" it still only deletes on the device!

Is this the same for everyone or can someone help Please? Sorry I can't describe this better!

#1 are you on BES.

#2 Open the email Icon> this is a guess but, (I haven't used one yet) menu> options> Email Reconcilition> and set as desired.

Im not on BES im on BIS.

It doesn't offer you options on reconciliation. It just allows you to do it, but even then it doesn't seem to update it at all (I tried with some test emails).

When you set delete On device and mailbox you may only be doing it for your additional account. You should also set on conflicts.. mailbox wins.

If you're just forwarding your work email to a personal account which is attached to your BIS account, then if you read the work emails, they wi'll never reconsile to your work account.
Email doesn't work like that.
