I use a BlackBerry as my personal phone - I think its a great device and rate it above a lot of other phones I have had - including the iPhone (great device but I couldn't get used to the virtual keyboard - got an iPod touch in the end).

I always try and get friends to get a BB - free messages through BB Messenger and email

I am interested to hear other consumers views, or are you all business users?

I use it for both. I love the BB for my personal use, but I almost need it for the work email and schedule. I have CRS. can't remember S---.

I use it as a consumer. And like you, I had an iPhone, and to me, this thing blows it away. It is no multimedia player like the iPhone, but the other stuff is where the BB shines. To me, the whole touch screen thing is a little overrated. I work with a lot of machines that are touchscreen and keypad, and I almost always end up using the keypad part of it, since it works better.

Both. Can't beat the efficiency of BES for getting my e-mails when I am away from my desk, but also use the other functionality for fun.
