To perform a hard reset BlackBerry Search Results
do I turn the phone off or leave it on? This seems to be overlooked in all the documentation I've seen so far.

Leave the BB powered on and remove the battery. Or push Alt> Right Shift> and Delete.

I read a post somewhere that encouraged doing this on a weekly basis to prevent trouble. Is this correct/advisable?
