never selected "available offline", but i have been using the auto synch lately. neat feature, and it doesn't seem to use too much memory, although i clear my browser cache at least once a week.

i use the auto synch on RSS feeds only (so far) as i can't think of any usefulness for other sites that i visit. used mostly for engadget mobile's feed, and have it set to synch every hour beginning at 8AM. with this, i have easier aceess (and less a few clicks) to get the latest headlines.

generally foolproof, although one "lacking" feature would be an update notification (more than the bookmark just being listed in bold).
