Smile Moving e-mail from old BB Pearl to new BB Storm

Hi,

I bought a new BlackBerry storm this past Friday. When the VZW rep set it up, there was supposedly an influx of people registering their new BlackBerry Storm's on the network so the data was not registering on ANY of the new Storm's being sold. I told the rep I needed to transfer my "@vzw.blackberry.net" email and he said he'd help out but then wasn't able since the data network was down.

To make a long story short, I added 2 of 3 email addresses to my new device (AOL and gmail) and waited on the @vzw.blackberry.net address. Since then, I've found online how to log into my BIS site and transfer the device from my old Pearl to the new Storm, however what will happen to the two email addresses I added already? Will they duplicate? Do I need to create a new BIS account first for this device and delete them? If I did that, would it prevent me from transferring over my old BIS from the Pearl?

Any insight would be MUCH appreciated!

If you have a BIS acct all you are doing is switching devices. So the email accts will remain

Just as a bit of advice, there are several issues around using the carrier supplied email account. First, you can't take it with you if and when you change carriers. Second, if it gets out, you will start to receive lots of SPAM as it is unfiltered. And finally, the only way to read email coming to the account is ont he BB itself, there is no webmail option.
