Trying to put my music on BB Bold, tried Album - Artist it ends up in "artist", tried Artist - Album it ends up in "Album", tried making Artist in root, then album, then all tracks it ends up in "Album", what do I have to do, what am i doing wrong?
Media Card\Music\Artist name\Album\ of course technically you can just drop your music in the Music folder and the BlackBerry will read the information from the file (artist, album, etc).

Just think about how far BlackBerries have come from then till now... And what else is coming.
I have been naming like this:- Media Card/Artist/Album
Will this be what I am doing wrong?
Also how do I turn volume down any further when on lowest, its still very loud i.e. when I am in bed it's on all night, still loud, need it lower, is there a way Steve086
Wierd it sounds like it might be the tags in the file itself.
Is the music organized correctly in Windows Media Player? Have you ripped the music yourself from CD's?
What you might want to consider is download iTunes and have iTunes organize your music this way on your computer you will have an iTunes folder inside My Music and inside that iTunes folder your music will be organized by artist then albums.. Then you can just copy and paste it all to your BlackBerry. Then its your choice whether to keep iTunes or not.

I think Steve is correct - the FILENAME is NOT generally used by the BB to display music info in Media Player. You need to have the correct information in the mp3 tags and you can do that with any number of programs that organize mp3 files.
So while I do organize my files on the BB by composer/composition into folders, it is the mp3 tags that allow me to select genre, album or artist or title, etc
