i was looking to load this up with some software and play with it.
is there software that allows me to listen to the xm radio and watch live tv on here?

or is that not possible?

Nope. It's not a multimedia device. The multimedia stuff is an afterthought. The emphasis for all Blackberrys, even the consumer-ish ones, is business-grade communications.

Also, the Storm is so new that it will be a month or so until you start to see a lot of aftermarket apps for it. I know with my Bold, AT&T included an XM Radio app, but I have zero interest in it so I've never even opened it. It will probably be up to Verizon to offer something like this for Storm users. They'll probably charge you extra for it too.
