Talking How do I add the curve + 8800 to one computer?

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings!
I have a 8800 currently running great and syncing great to my computer but want to also add a curve and link to the same computer and give my husband the 8800. How do I load and sync both BB's to the same computer.

I successfully used the DM to switch BB's and copy all my data from the 8800 to the curve but I can not get the DM to add applications to the curve. It just tells me "no applications found for your device". Is ther something else I am supposed to load.

Also how do I get the two devices to sync to two different outlook databases on the same computer?

You need to install the OS for your 8800 to the PC.

To sync, just plug it in and sync. It remembers sync settings by PIN.

Default is the os for the 8800 not already installed?

Thank you for your reply.
Sorry let me correct some details...I am currently using the 8830 world edition and it is working fine and syncing fine with the computer. I have recently added the 8330 (curve) and have connected it fine to the DM the DM will just not let me load applications for the 8330 curve. Do I need to load the OS for the 8330 to my pc? If so how do I do that?

If you use DM 4.7 you don't need to load the OS.
