I am a new BlackBerry user, so please be gentle with me, I have 8700 model and have recently downloaded Blackberry Desktop Manager Version 4.7. When I connected my Blackberry to my PC it ran an update on the handheld. I have tried to connect to the Media Manager but it does not recognise my Blackberry.
Is there a reason for this and can it be corrected.

I have Media Manager with my Storm and absolutely hate it. It runs very slow, wouldn't install from the CD, etc. If possible, just use your BB as an external drive and put files on it directly (assuming that's what you're trying to do).
