How do i back up the system settings because i've had a crash in the past with my old blackberry and don't want it to occur with the new one?

Go here https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22 and download Desktop Manager software and synch your phone with Outlook. There's also a switch device wizard if you are going from an old BB to a new one. You will also need this to back up and restore files in the event of a crash. I like 4.5 but people are using 4.6 and 4.7 as well.

And definitely sync and/or backup frequently.
