I have a 8310. I contacted alltel to download software to be able to send pictures. I got about halfway through the download and it stopped. My computer now says the device can't be detected and I need to replace it. Can anyone help me with this problem.

What does the display of your phone look like? is there an error message?

And let's assume you have an 8130, since Alltel does have the 8310.
For starters, remove from the USB cable, pull the battery on the BB and reinsert to reboot it, and reboot the PC as well.
Then connect up and try it all again.

I have already tried removing the battery and rebooting any other suggestions?
