Default Why some BB have an operator logo and some not??

Please Login to Remove!

Why have I seen a couple of BB (a Curve an a Bold) without any operator logo below the space key?

Is this a way the operator to get cheaper phones?? or what is the reason??

thanks for any answer!!!

They are either unbranded phones, or the housing could have been replaced with an aftermarket housing.

It's the preference of the carrier. AT&T is crazy about their branding. Other carriers may simply choose not to spend the money on branding every device they sell.
