Hello all,

I am super new to BES and I just set up my first phone and all seems to be working quite well. The phone I set up had a software problem with my carrier and I needed to wipe it (no backup). After it re-set up, I did the enterprise activation which seemed to go well. The only problem is that it didnt sync any of my previous emails. I continue to get new emails and I can send messages fine, but how do I get the older messages back to the device?

What version of BES are you running?

On BES 4.1.6 you can do a remote search for old messages in your mailbox so you don't need them stored on your device.

Well since I travel alot, I dont always have my laptop so I do need about 2 weeks worth of email on the device. When I set it up the first time, they went to the device, but now they wont go back.

You don't need your laptop for what I am referring to. From the BlackBerry, you can scan your mailbox for messages, if you have the right version of BES.

Nonetheless, upon activation you should get the last couple of days worth of mail depending on how your BES is configured.

Where should I make configuration changes on the BES server to resend the old messages? And as for the mailbox lookup how is that done?
(I just download BES Pro today so its the latest one)
