Exclamation Wiped phone twice, apps are STILL on it

Please Login to Remove!

So i couldnt make any phone calls or get on the net for a few hours earlier so i called Sprint. The guy had me wipe my phone twice becuase provisioning didnt work, taking the battery out didnt work and all the other tricks. So i wipe it and after each time my apps are still on there..i thought they should be gone if i wiped it. So now my phone STILL wont make phone calls( get "call failed please try again later) or connect to the net. iv also ran that little "test" in the mobile network section but to no avail...what shall i do

******* so this post probably was confusing...im not worried that the apps are still there..im worried that i still dont have a connection...BUT i just called sprint back and theres an outage******

Wiping with the Security > Wipe doesn't remove third party applications (or at least all of them). It only removes personal data, settings, etc. You need the JL Cmder wipe as advisec by Zero.

Good job
In my short time with sprint I have to say they are much better about working with you and doing things in a fair and timely manner (I was on ATT). But you on occasion get that tech that just sucks at his job or doesn't care.

If you click on the checkbox that says 'remove third party applications too' then it will wipe those as well. If you don't, it won't and they'll still be there.

I believe the "remove third party applications" prompt is only in 4.5 and higher OS's.

Hmm...well, it's been so long since I've used 4.2 I don't even remember. Over a year.
