Pasting a number during a call hello, a feature that would be very useful to use with my new Bold is the ability to paste a previously copied number while on a call. it would allow me to use calling cards and other accounts for international calls alternatively does anyone know of a way to store a number with a pause followed by other numbers to be sent in other phones it is usually a p (which is made by pressing and holding the * button) any ideas? thanks you all in advance Elias, london, uk |
Wirelessly posted (8310; RammerJammer!) 1. Press escape to exit the call screen while keeping the call active and paste the number in your Address Book. Is that what your are asking? 2. There a couple of ways to do this. One is to enter the initial numbersn then press Menu to "add pause" or "add wait". |
thank you very much for getting back to me so promptly, very grateful the second part of your reply answers the question perfectly. the first part is my lack of clarity: i want to call a uk telecom carrier service number (which recognises my moblie and then says "please enter the number you wish to dial...") and during the call, i want to paste a number that i would have copied from my address book. this allows me to call an overseas number at voip rates rather than at vodafone rates (up to a tenfold difference in price) thanks a million elias |
